Brixton Station Road Market is a community market run by local traders. It’s on a wide pedestrianised road near the tube, a street with bars and cafes, the Recreation Centre and Pop Brixton. It’s also the way into the back entrance of Brixton Village via Popes Road. And it’s got street food stalls, with traders offering fare from around the world. Fridays features the famed Bokit’La.

Barrows Project

We’re a Community Interest Company so we have no shareholders. We work to benefit our members and the local community. That’s why we supported the effort to Save Brixton’s Historic Market Barrows. We’ve raised the money to renovate four of the Market’s traditional fruit and veg barrows, and now we want to do the same for three traditional flat barrows, which are used in the market for moving market supplies and equipment.

A medley of markets

On weekdays we have food stalls. At weekends there’s a different kind of market each Saturday. And once in a while we put on one-off events to bring even more people into Brixton. So keep your eye on our website for what’s coming up.
