Brixton Village

Brixton Village and its companion arcade Market Row house scores of shops offering world foods from India, East Asia, Africa, South America and the Caribbean.

You'll find the famous cafés, and everything from a charcuterie to traditional chinese medicine. Second Avenue in Brixton Village (see our helpful Market Map in the menu on the left), is like a little slice of Hoxton.

The Brixton Village arcade is just a few minutes walk from Brixton tube station. On leaving the station turn right, then take the first street on the right. You're on Atlantic Road. Go down Atlantic Road and you'll find an entrance to Brixton Village on the left, past the railway bridges.

Or head down Coldharbour Lane from the Town Hall, and there's another entrance on your left just over the cross roads.

Brixton Village and the other market arcade, Market Row, are open 8am till 11.30pm, except Mondays when they shut at 6pm.
